Highly adjustable ergonomic shoulder rest. Suitable for 3/4 & 4/4 Violin and Violas between the sizes of 13-16". Perfect for students.
Its unique design enables various positions for the best fit possible. Firm sponge and micro adjustments for firm grip at the chosen angle across the instrument, foldable legs and patented resonance holes for enhanced acoustics.

Cheap and cheerful, best for violins.
Pros: For a violin it's nice (see cons re viola). Cheap and cheerful. High coefficient of friction between rubber and clothing.
Cons: 1. The rubber is stuck on with too little glue (this is my second, for my viola). 2. One rest for all-size instruments is pushing it too far. The rest has a curve that goes over your shoulder and, like the Bon Musica, should go quite a way back over your shoulder, but for the Artino to fit on my 15 1/2" viola (what matters is the width of the lower bout, rather than the length) requires both legs to be extended to max, which will place the shoulder-curve too far forward for some.
Grade 8+
Nice, but barely glued together.
Pros: A nice comfortable shoulder rest, both for violin and viola. Rubber, violin-friendly feet. High coefficient of friction between rubber and clothing.
Cons: Not enough glue - the rubber quickly comes away from the backing. You'll have to get yourself a tube of Bostick in addition.
