Delivery Information

Our delivery prices can vary depending on location and the size and weight of the product and are shown in the table below. We also offer free delivery for any order to most locations in the UK. For exclusions to certain areas of for certain products please see the definitions below.

Please note that the definition of the term "business day" on this and other pages of our website is as follows: Any day except Saturday, Sunday and UK and Scottish public holidays.

Please be advised that orders delivered outside of the United Kingdom are not subject to UK tax (VAT) but may be subject to the local taxes (VAT) and import duty of the destination country. We have no control over charges levied by other parties and we kindly suggest that you enquire with your local postal service for details of any additional costs you may incur, prior to placing your order. All delivery times quoted are given in good faith but are not guaranteed unless specifically indicated.

Economy

In stock items are despatched by Royal Mail or courier service within 3 business days. Free delivery orders are usually delivered within 5 business days (for products displayed as "in stock" at the time of purchase).

Standard

If received before 2pm your order will be despatched on the same day (Monday to Friday) by Royal Mail or courier service. This applies only to products shown as "in stock" at the time of purchase. Standard orders are usually delivered 1-3 business days after despatch.

Next Day Tracked

If received before 2pm your order will be despatched on the same day (Monday to Friday.) Orders placed after 2pm and at any time on weekends or public holidays will ship on the next business day. We use a combination of Royal Mail Tracked 24 and couriers who aim to deliver on the next day (Monday to Friday).

UK Islands & Remote Areas

This includes Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and BFPO addresses. Large and heavy items, mainly cases and instruments, are subject to a £12.95 minimum shipping charge when delivered to these destinations. This is due to the much higher cost of delivering such items to these areas. These charges will be presented at checkout prior to payment.

Royal Mail aim to deliver Special Delivery parcels by 5.30pm the next working day in the following postcode areas:

Channel Islands

We supply goods VAT free to the Channel Islands with associated customs documentation. We use standard Royal Mail services for delivery of smaller items (Letter/ large letter / small parcel) shipped by either our Economy (free) or Standard (£2.95) options. Heavy or large items such as cases and instruments have a shipping charge of £20 due to the higher costs to ship these items.

BFPO

Large and heavy items, mainly cases and instruments, are subject to a £12.95 minimum shipping charge when delivered to BFPO addresses.

Rest of the World

All orders are sent using a tracked service. Orders containing smaller items ship for a minimum flat rate of £18. Orders including a heavier item such as a case or instrument ship for a minimum of £45 to most destinations. Some destinations including (but not limited to) Australia, New Zealand and Japan are subject to a surcharge of £25 for heavy items. Customers will be asked for approval of this charge before their order is processed. Some items cannot be shipped outside of the EU. We will advise you on this before processing your order.
