When you shop with The String Zone you'll earn points that can be converted into a discount on your future purchases at thestringzone.co.uk. With our points scheme, you earn up to 3% money back to spend on your future purchases.
How do I collect points?
Points are automatically allocated to the account of the email provided when placing an order in increments as in the table below. You earn points even when using a discount voucher or previously earned points. Log in to your account to see details of your points balance and order history. Please note accounts are linked only to the email address used. If a different email address is used for any subsequent orders a new account will be created in that name.

Points are added to your account balance 14 days from when your order ships. Points are earned on the value of goods in your order and not on the value of priority or international shipping costs.
How do I redeem my points?
Make sure you log in to your account when placing your order. Check the "Use ... of my points" option at the checkout. Each point is worth a 1 penny discount when redeemed. Any points balance will remain on your account for use against future purchases.
Points can be applied for a discount on the value of the goods purchased but not to priority or express shipping costs. Of course, you can still choose free shipping within the UK!
You can view your current points balance by logging into your account and visiting the "My Points" page. There you'll find a complete history of how you earned and redeemed your points.
Terms & Conditions of the points scheme:
- A customer's points balance will remain (and will not expire) so long as the customer's account remains active. An active account is one that has made a purchase within the last year. Customers will be given two weeks notice by email before any points automatically expire from their account.
- Bow and instrument approval orders are excluded from the scheme.
- We reserve the right to alter the number of points earned per pound spent without notice.
- The value of a point when converted into a discount on goods (the redemption value) is currently 1 penny (0.01 GBP). We reserve the right to alter the redemption value at any time.
- We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to alter the conditions of operation of the points scheme, or terminate the scheme. We also reserve the right to withdraw points, under reasonable grounds which includes any abuse of attempted abuse of the scheme, any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty on the part of a customer.
- Points are allocated to the account associated with the email address provided for the order concerned and cannot be transferred between accounts, used via another account, sold or in any way traded.
- If you redeem (apply as a discount) points earned with a purchase that is later returned for refund, we reserve the right to reduce the amount refunded by an amount equivalent in value to the points spent. For example, if you earn and then redeem 100 points, and then return the original purchase, we will reduce the refund by £1 (the redemption value of 100 points).
