Pros:
Using them for first time on early 20th. century German cello, after 30 years using Larsen. Big improvement. Warmer sound, much more subtlety, sensitivity, flexibility. Less wooden/dry/flat/inflexible, which is how I used to feel about Larsen sometimes on this particular breed of cello. The only thing preventing me from trialling them previously, as a gigging cellist, was the cost.
