Pros:
I am actually using it for a violin - Don Tatem from Cardiff, wjth a good and obedient bow. I did originally buy it for my viola. It gives the instrument an absolutely huge volume, and sweet tone, stabilises the bow so nothing fails. It improves the effect to use the "comb" supplied with the rosin for distributing into the bow hairs.
Cons:
Important not to overdose. Also important to clear the strings of rosin between sessions.
Other:
Very different effect from other rosins.
