Pros:
This is easily going to be the forever string set for my modern Italian violin. Honestly, I’ve never experienced anything quite like this before—it completely unlocked my instrument's potential and feels like Dominants on steroids. The sound is beautifully balanced across all four strings, giving me a loud, focused tone with a really deep core and just the right amount of sizzle on top. The playability is amazing, too. The response is so fast and precise that it makes the violin incredibly easy to play. What really blows me away is how it opened up the bottom register, while making the upper register feel completely limitless. I can play as high as I want on any string and the sound never chokes or hits a ceiling. It’s just crystal clear everywhere on the fingerboard. I’ve tried plenty of premium strings, but this set easily beats out PI, Evah Pirazzi Gold, Perpetual and both the Il Cannone Soloist and Direct & Focused sets. I am absolutely thrilled with this setup, though as a string junkie, I still can’t wait to try the Rondo Golds next just to see if it can get even better!
