Astrea Synthetic Violin Strings, SET

Beginners & teachers will be familiar with the popular steel core set from this company. Astrea has now expanded its range to bring you this new synthetic core set, providing the player with a more detailed & wide ranging tone. Tonally these will be warmer than the steel core set and more comfortable under the fingers during use. These are aimed at the student market and will provide a good cost effective alternative to the more premium Thomastik or Pirastro alternatives.

The strings are a standard medium tension.

You can also order each string separately. The 'E' string included here is the same as the steel core set.

All strings are suitable for 4/4 & 3/4 and feature brass ball ends.
