Description
The Kaplan Ball End Adapter allows any violin or viola string with a ball end to be used with standard single hook-type fine tuners.
The adapter enables users of single hook English or 'Hill' style fine tuners to use the more robust ball end E strings. The special design of the adapter preserves the alignment of the string into the tuner. It is small and inconspicuous, and its gold-colored finish matches all styles of instrument fittings.
Produces a neat and inconspicuous fine tune set up. Eliminates the risk of damage to the instrument front by the tuner.

Pros: It did the job but
Cons: It is quite fiddly to fit and keep in place whilst tightening the string and the 'lock' shown in the sales diagram was not present on the ones delivered to me.
