Pros: Excellent. Used on a very good old German violin, kind to the violin because of its lower tension and producing a lovely warm sound with good projection. Warmly recommended.

Reliable and good string all round
Pros: Stability, reliable strings (I’ve got the Sol,Re,La & a Pirastro Gold Mi): obviously there are better choices for deeper sound and soloist’s needs, but for my actual needs at this time, they do a great job.
Cons: None. As said before, probably not the best for the highest goals for a soloist, still, a very good string.

Pros: Nice warm sound. Its a new instrument for me so I'm trying different strings to see what suits its voice best and I've used this type before with good results.
Cons: Perhaps its not as bright as it might be, but that could be the instrument, not the string.
