Cons: I know how to tie gut strings on - some students may be unsure - a diagram fro less informed players.

Pros: A decent string with good tone.

Cons: Most baroque strings come in double length. This one doesn't, so is effectively twice the price of what you think you're getting.

Other: I should point out here that the Pirastro A gut string is in fact for a 2nd. Chanterelle on my Hurdy gurdy.Lovely sound. No more itchy atchy screechy scratchy nonsense. A few turns of the gurdy wheel and I'm in heaven
