Description

We are the UK's premier supplier of Coda bows. The entry bow in the Diamond series offers advancing players a performance bow at a realistic price.

The Diamond NX is our best selling bow at this price point. It combines quality, playability and affordability to produce a bow suitable for student and amateur players at all levels.

The NX Diamond features a firmer stick than SX and GX which makes it easier to control for learners whilst ensuring a positive feel and producing an even, sweet tone. The balance point is biased toward the head which aids control when playing with the lower half of the bow.

The bow has a neutral, even feel for good control along the entire length of the stick. This helps students develop their technique on a bow without idiosyncrasies.

These bows can be rehaired in the traditional manner and as such should give no problems for a qualified bow repairer, thereby ensuring a lifetime of service equal to any traditional wooden bow.

This bow is available on our 7 day approval scheme. For details click here.

All our instruments and bows benefit from our 30 day returns guarantee Terms apply

Unless stated otherwise all our bows are supplied with a starter coat of premium quality William Salchow rosin. Good, fresh rosin is essential to obtain the best performance from any bow.

Quality bow- worth every penny paid !
5 out of 5 found the following review helpful

Pros: At first I was a little reluctant to spend what is essentially an awful lot of money on this new bow. I shouldn't have worried ! The quality of this item surpasses any bow I have ever played with and it brings out the best sound possible from my viola. As you can tell I am really happy with this item and will be only purchasing this type of bow from now on. The quality weight and design are excellently suited to my style of playing.

Cons: It makes the others I own sound bad !

Other: The bow also comes with a lifetime warranty and post sales aftercare if you register with US company .

Rather a good bow.
3 out of 3 found the following review helpful

Pros: Much more responsive bow than my previous ones, both legato and off the string it's less work to get the sound I want. Comfortable to play.

Cons: Nothing to dislike so far.

Other: I had another carbon fibre and a wooden bow at a similar price on approval - this one was clearer a better bow. The next one up in the range wasn't (for me) greatly different.

So pleased with Coda bow

Pros: I got the bow originally as a backup whilst I arranged to have my usual bow rehaired but since getting it have used it constantly for the last 3 months and love it for its reliablilty and overall ease of use.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other: Very pleased too with the excellent and prompt service from the String Zone in getting my order to me.

A very good bow for the money.

Pros: Light and flexible, a pleasure to play with.

Cons: Its a shame they only come in one weight. I would like a heavier one as well for playing stuff where you need less delicacy.
