Pros: Perfect weight. Good balance. Just the right amount of pull from the hair.
Cons: Nothing
Other: I've been after a better bow for a while to replace a cheap starter bow, and a slightly better one I borrowed. It's hard to know what to go for, to know how much to spend so I asked a good violinist friend and she said how much she liked her Col Legno Standard. On trying it, I was sold and ordered one. I'm equally impressed with this one. It's just the right weight, excellent balance and has much better hair than on the bows I was previously using, which has made all the different in the tone I am able to produce. I feel a lot more confident and I wish I'd treated myself when I first realised I needed a new one. Also the service from String Zone was first rate. Ordered after lunch on Monday - arrived with the postman on Wednesday morning. Brilliant.

Pros: I am very new to the violin and bought a used student model. Others had told me that a good bow was essential and the gentleman at your company persuaded me that this model would suit. It certainly has made progress easier and faster. As far as I can tell it feels balanced, light and the quality horse hair does the job.
Cons: I can think of nothing

Pros: Lovely bow - nice weight, bounce and a noticeably nicer tone than with the cheap bow that came free with my Fender electric violin.
Cons: No real cons. Perhaps that it's harder to keep clean that a traditional wooden bow, but the polished black looks lovely with my black electric violin.

Pros: My 14yr son is lead 2nd Violin in a Youth Orchestra and following an unfortunate accident we decided to get professional help in choosing a replacement bow. He is very happy with this choice. It is comparable to his old bow in all respects AND IS UNBREAKABLE .....
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Improved tone
Cons: None
Other: After violin lessons at school I am self learning during retirement lockdown. My new bow has an improved interaction with the strings and a definite improvement in tone. Sadly it has not yet turned me into a virtuoso

Pros: Brilliant, once it had been played in. Brings out as rich a tone as good as my wooden bow, but with lighter, more responsive touch.
Cons: The hairs are not uniformly straight; there is a bit of crossing.
