Ascenté synthetic core strings produce a warm, wide tonal range, highly stable, perfect for beginners upward.
Ascenté is a new set of strings designed for short break-in time with superior bow response for optimised playability, an excellent choice for any player. Medium tension strings. Made in USA.
To check your instrument size measure the length of the back (LOB) excluding the 'button' which is the thumb shaped extension at the top where the neck is anchored. Old instruments can vary, if more than 1/2" over choose the next size up.

Pros: Sound warm and bright compared to the Preludes and other strings I've used before. They took a few days to settle in, this is a very humid climate here. Easy to play and feel lively.
Cons: The A string looks a little unwound just above the nut, despite me fitting them very carefully following stringzone's own instructions to the letter. Keeping an eye on it, and will report back if it breaks early.
