Synthetic/Aluminium. Specially designed to match Eudoxa strings to give longer life than a gut based string
The Eudoxa-Aricore A-string has a core made from polyester. Is an alternative to gut core A-strings. Close approximation to Eudoxa gut cored A with a dark sound. A good alternative to Eudoxa for those looking for an affordable alternative which is stable and has better wear characteristics.

Pros: I had Dominant strings before the Eudoxa. Eudoxa seems to have a much warmer tone - certainly sounds better bearing in mind that I am not an experienced player
Cons: nothing

Perfect match with Eudoxa Rigid D
Pros: Eudoxa -Aricore- A is a very good string. I put it by recommendation of another violinist because it is a perfect tonal match with Eudoxa Rigid D.
Cons: No issues in sound of playability.
Other: I am very happy with this Aricore A within the Eudoxa Rigid G&D combo, but I will like to compare it with the wound gut A of the set (I haven't yet), and I would also like to try a higher tension.
