Pros: It's so hard to choose a string but this A is really special. It has replaced a relatively old Larsen medium and the depth of tone and colour is beautiful to experience. I just adore playing a sweet, singing, warm open A with no harshness. It responds to my every wish. It is the most amazing string I've ever played because it connects my heart to my cello sound like no other string. It makes me want to practice and I miss my cello when I can't play it.
Cons: None

Pros: The string plays phenomenally well on my Sound of Violins cello. It really balances out the aggression that I was finding with an all Larsen Magnacore set up. It blends smoothly with the D string and gives an overall smoother tonal range across all strings. Well worth it. It also arrived with the usual promptness that I have grown to associate with The String Zone.
Cons: Expensive, but worth it on my cello and set up.

Pros: Great string. Doesn't add or take anything away from the cello sound. If your cello sounds ok. this string will make it sing. Very flexible, you can shift easily without losing resonance and can produce much tonal nuance by bow placement and speed.
Cons: Nothing, apart from price!

Does exactly as described. A beautiful rich tone.
Pros: My old A really stood out, with a bright, (some would say metallic) and harsh tone. The EP Gold has really improved the tone, it balances well with the other strings and produces a rich resonant tone. The upper registers are also SUPERB! Thanks. I am delighted with it.
Cons: Just like divorce, its expensive because its worth it! Worth every penny.
Other: Great service as usual.

Great strings
Pros: First time I used Evah Pirazzi 'Gold' strings, and I am very happy with the choice – the strings respond very well, sound great, and stayed in tune right away. Worth the extra cost. Very quick delivery from the StringZone.
Cons: No negatives.

Pros: I like these strings very much. They suit my cello, play well from the start, have a rich round sound and are responsive.
Cons: Nothing
Other: For me, it's either these or the Pirastro Flexocor
