Pros: This is unbelievably good to play on and increases in volume and colour the more I play it. It makes a passionate tone and responds to whatever I want in a musical phrase. It has a warm, richly expressive tone which is ridiculously pleasing to play. It balances beautifully with the Evah Pirazzi Gold A I bought. I'm saving up for the G and C now.
Cons: None

Look no further for the D string that truly sings.
Pros: This is the most beautiful, warm, glowing D string sound I've experienced. It really sings, especially in the fourth to sixth positions, which can be a less forthcoming area on some cellos. As another reviewer has said, it is highly pleasurable to play with no feeling of tension or having to coax the sound out.
Cons: The Evah Pirazzi Gold strings seem to need changing a bit more often than the standard or Soloist strings, but it's worth it for their singing quality.
Other: It blends very well with the EP Gold A, and Larsen Magnacore G and C that I am now using - great warmth and power combined.
