Pros: I found Evah Pirazzi gold rosin to be lovely and smooth on my violins { all Evah Pirazzi strings ] , but I prefer my more recent purchase from you - Olive-Evah dark rosin - it has a little more `bite` and makes the playing more responsive. Marshall Davies.
Cons: I have to use quite a lot of gold rosin to get a good result, but less of the dark rosin to get what is to me , a better sound.

Pros: I bought this having read Pirastro's claims about low dust and low residue, having put on Evah Golds for the first time, after years of devotion to green Evahs. Amazingly, the claims turned out to be quite true - the rosin is smooth and doesn't leave the same amount of residue on the strings as my previous Pirastro Gold rosin.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Soft texture, easy to rosin the bow, and best of all quick to do, I have only applied sparingly. The rosin packing with a lid over the cloth is clever. Like it.
Cons: None at all the moment.
Other: I have no idea yet whether the sound comes out sweeter or not with this rosin.

Pros: Bought the Evah Pirazzi Strings a while back and my old rosin was not really working with them. This is great though - really has made a difference so now I love my fiddle again!
