Description
Evah Pirazzi Gold strings have a synthetic multifilament fibre core. They produce a brilliant, golden tone with a full-bodied and big sound from the very bottom to the top of the register.
The great dynamic range of these strings allows skilled players to explore both the finest nuances of quiet passages and create powerful sonorities when playing close to the finger-board or using a strong bow arm.
Very short break-in time, even shorter than Evah Pirazzi and Obligato, combined with a very high level of tonal stability in all climatic conditions
Choice of G string windings. Gold G-string: This G-string is wound with a pure gold wire. It offers a round and full tone. Silver G-string: very dynamic sound which emphasises a more brilliant tone
4 x variations of the set, loop or ball E , and then gold or silver G.
NEW Stainless Steel E-string: It has an excellent response and generates a refined and smooth sound right to the very top of the register.
Multi strand synthetic core. Ball or loop end E. Ball end A, D & G. All strings are medium tension and full size.

Pros: After years of searching for strings that suit my violin and my playing and spending considerable periods on each of Golden Spiral, Eudoxa, Olive, Dominant, Zyex, ordinary Evah Pirazzi, I finally tried a set of Evah Pirazzi 'Gold'. I'm using the gold version of the G string. The sound across the violin is satisfyingly even, warm, responsive and consequently I'm on about my 5th set. Additionally the E string is stainless steel and does not corrode. (I currently live in a basement apartment with some damp issues!). This E string is mellow by comparison to others but I like it very much. All the strings are very stable once played in and in all environments I've played in very rarely shift pitch once tuned. Because deterioration due to age is barely noticeable I tend to change the whole set once I feel they are past their best - this usually coincides with slight wear of the A string at the third position shift. Until violin string technology takes another leap these are the ones for me.
Cons: At the moment, there are no cons whatsoever! Pricey but worth it!

Pros: The strings are beautifully wound and are a joy to play.They have enhanced the tonal quality of my violin .Highly recommended.
Cons: The packaging is not what I would have expected from a top of the range product.Four strings in four loose tissue paper style packets.
Other: Stringzone jiffy bag keeps strings reasonably damage proof.

Pros: Good even tone with rich D & G strings. Good volume and very stable in pitch
Cons: Not a lot to dislike - they are a little on the bright tinny side, but that could well be my vioin's response to the e string

Pros: A little early to be completely sure, but so far the violin has responded well with good depth of sound to the strings I have been able put on (swee below).
Cons: The whipping on the A string was so large it would not fit through the slot on the tail piece. Not good for an expensive string! Hence the reduced score.

Pros: They are loud and project well.
Cons: Far too hard and harsh for me,it took me about 2 weeks (of teaching and gigging) to bed them in at all.I much prefer the Green Eva's and will be returning to them in the near future.

Pros: The 'Gold' strings sing and produce a good clear tone across the violin. On my violin I find that harmonics are much easier to produce and the strings make a less 'gritty' sound when playing at the heel. They settled very quickly and are stable as you would expect from Evah Pirazzi.
Cons: Not at the moment
Other: I have only tried the set with the gold G string and haven't tried the silver G to see if there is much of a difference.

Pros: These are very classy strings and the E is particularly good. The range and subtlety of the Evah Pirazzi standard range but less nasal and particularly strong G D and E. An initial problem with the A was sorted out by a lightning swap made with characteristic efficiency by the stringzone team. Thanks!
Cons: Too early to tell if they are more durable than the Evah P standard range. Hope so!

Pros: These give a bright yet warm sound, perhaps a little more focused that the standard Pirazzi. I opted for the silver version. They have settled to pitch quickly and have played in well. They are perfect in 5ths and are recommended. The length provided is generous. If you are using Wittner/Peghead type of fine adjusting pegs, you will need to remove about 3cm of string when fitting.
Cons: ... only the price!!!!

Pros: The E string was fine....
Cons: .....but the winding on the G, D and A strings was so thick that there was no way the EP Gold were going to fit in the tailpiece of my violin, although it's just a standard Wittner one with integrated adjusters.
