A1 shoulder rest, sturdy, great fit, grip & price
12 out of 13 found the following review helpful

Pros: Bought this shoulder rest for my son to replace a KUN which had been stolen at his school. It had good write-ups but was also half the price so I decided to give it a go. WHY everyone hasn't heard about these rests, I cannot imagine. Sturdy, much better padded than the KUN, feet are very well fitted to the violin and don't fall off and they dont have rubber covered feet that split as do the KUN rests (though the latest ones are improved). EXCELLENT PRODUCT, will never go back. This is the product we have all been waiting for, a good solid shoulder rest that stays in place, doesn't wobble, and cost half the price. A much better rest for a child too.

Cons: A little bulky to fit into a 1/2 size case with the violin but just about fits.

Best rest since sliced bread

Pros: It has a great shape- much improved on the Kun. Also very solid feeling and those feet are amazing!!! The rest just doesnt come off- these are a major improvement, MUCH better than anything Ive used previously...bring on those feet!!!! very solid

Cons: For me its not high enough on one side, longer feet are available but not from stringzone- probably as its a new product

Would recommend.

Pros: I bought this for my son. He outgrew his previous one as he upsized to a 3/4 size violin. He says it’s really comfortable and no longer falls off whilst he’s playing, like his old one used to.

Cons: None.

Excellent rest -- excellent price!

Pros: price very like the Kuhn but "stickier" feet so does not slip off looks elegant ... some rests do not look appropriate to a fine instrument.

Cons: nothing

A well designed shoulder rest.
1 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: A very comfortable shoulder rest which grips the violin well and is very unlikely to cause any damage due to the substantial rubber grips. I would certainly recommend this to my students as a good alternative to many of the more expensive brands.

Cons: The rest might not fit into some student cases.

Comfy shoulder rest

Pros: Very comfortable, especially when playing for long periods. A good shape for a shoulder

Cons: It grips the violin very tightly which I think slightly hinders the sound

Other: I recommend this shoulder rest to my pupils

A shoulder rest that stays on!

Pros: Easy to fit and doesn't fall off due to the grippy feet.

Cons: May not adjust in height enough for some.

Good value for the money

Pros: Bought for my grown up daughter who wants to get back into playing. This shoulder rest was well priced, and does the job very well. Fits on the violin nicely. Great value for money. Well made and functional.

Cons: It's not the most adjustable

Easy to use, good value shoulder rest.

Pros: This shoulder rest is a good fit for me and has really helped with my playing. It has taken a little adjustment but now I have it in a comfortable position and I can play for longer.

Cons: It isn't fully flexible and may not be a good fit for everybody but it is a good price and definitely worth trying.
