Pros: So much better to replace just the little rubber tubes than the whole shoulder rest
Cons: You need to know that the rubber needs to be gently warmed before you will be able to get these onto the shoulder rest. I put them into a cup of hot (not boiling!) water for a minute, then they went on easily.

Other: My shoulder rest was about 10 years old, the rubber feet had become smooth and slippery, so it often slipped off the violin. It was really easy to replace the foot tubes, I cut the old ones off then just a slight touch of water and soap allowed the new ones to slide on easily. The shoulder rest now grips onto the violin really well - like new again.

Pros: They do the job - they've replaced the worn-out ones and now my Wolf Primo doesn't keep falling off my violin. And they're easy to get on with a little saliva - no need to buy expensive moisturising products.

Pros: Perfect fit, restored my Wolf shoulder rest to as new.
Cons: No dislikes.
Other: You can buy kits which costs a little more and contain a fitting liquid plus the four new tubes. In fact, the only thing you need to do is add a very, very small smeer of liquid soap to get them on. But I do mean a very small amount otherwise they'll just pop off again!! I imagine that rubber glue for mending bicycle puncture would do the job as well.

Pros: Did the job perfectly once someone advised me to pop them in warm water before trying to put them on - then the process was easy!
Cons: They should come with advice to warm in water prior to application to save a lot of wasted time.

Pros: The feet on my shoulder rest had deteriorated but I didn't want to have to buy a new shoulder rest. These replacement feet were perfect! I cut off the old feet, soaked the new tubes in warm water for a while, and they slid over the metal feet fairly easily. The shoulder rest is now like new.
Cons: These would have been difficult to fit if I hadn't read the tip about soaking them in warm water first.

Pros: Good protection for violin from shoulder rest. Helped secure the shoulder rest to the violin.
Cons: None
Other: Fitting instructions would be helpful. - Heat the tube in warm water to allow the material of the tube to soften so that it can be applied to the metal of the shoulder rest.
