Pros: Good student rosin, cheap and easy to apply. Tin is good and keeps it safe for longer, and you can use it for other things (or other rosin) when you've broken the contents. Works well on viola too, not too harsh.
Cons: Nothing
Other: More grippy and responsive rosins exist (but tend to be more expensive)
