The Hill or English pattern tailpiece was designed and originally produced by W.E. Hill and Sons in London in the early 20th century. The arrow head silhouette and ridged profile are the signature features of this design. This style of tailpiece is especially suited to instruments of the more modern era post 1900.

High quality tailpiece
Pros: Really well made tailpiece accurate in dimensions and light..nice on my french violin which needed a bit of a boost to treble .this tailpiece in boxwood is a major help in achieving this .
