Excellent quality at the price, mixes well.

Pros: Very lyrical, loud, clear and sweet. Mixes well with Thomastik Vision Titanium Solo strings.
Cons: Can occasionally whistle.
Other: Only the Evah Parazzi gold-plated E has been better, in my experience. But then, the Evah Parazzi IS more expensive, and a hand made solo string. The Thomastik Red gold-plated E is about as good as the Pirastro Olive Green gold-plated E from memory, although I haven't played them side-by-side.

Pros: It took a while to settle but after a few days, I started to like it a lot. It sounds warm and has a nice ring to it.
Cons: This gold string was whistling a lot at first but got better after a few days playing.
