Description
To check your instrument size measure the length of the back (LOB) excluding the 'button' which is the thumb shaped extension at the top where the neck is anchored. Old instruments can vary, if more than 1/2" over choose the next size up.
4/4 - LOB 356mm (14")
3/4 - LOB 330mm (13")
1/2 - LOB 305mm (12")
1/4 - LOB 280mm (11")
1/8 - LOB 254mm (10")

Pros: Aurora have a nice tone especially if you have a bright violin and need to add some warmth ,but they are generally very good on all types of violins. Love tge way they are packaged . To be honest I've used strings over twice tge price and Aurora are just as good and I am finding them better.only one thing tgey take a week to settle in ,tgey stretch quite a bit so you need to install new strings with this in mind ,but when settled are superb the sound mellows over the settling in period . These are my fav strings over all others and at a great price .just give them a go and you will be surprised just how nice they are
Cons: Nothing really . But do allow 5_7 days to play in
