Description
To check your instrument size measure the length of the back (LOB) excluding the 'button' which is the thumb shaped extension at the top where the neck is anchored. Old instruments can vary, if more than 1/2" over choose the next size up.

1/2 - LOB 305mm (12")
1/4 - LOB 280mm (11")
1/8 - LOB 254mm (10")

Pros: I orded just d as my d string broke well I've not been happy with my strings .I could not believe how great this string is .my violin is a bit bright amd I wanted to find a string that would warm its tone a bit and this d has just done that ! But still kept the brilliance and clarity too,I'm so impressed and I'm going to replace all my strings with Aurora . From beginner to professional to me these are phenomenally good strings and also available in all sizes of violins so all ages can have a really good set of strings which is fantastic. They play in my opinion better than strings of over double the price . If your looking for a new string and your present ones aren't pleasing you try these
