Pros: This string was a revelation. I have a bright cello and have struggled for years to find an A string that wasn't over bright. This string not only offers a lovely warm and natural sounding A string, it helps balance the sound across all the strings. Lovely sound right up into the highest reaches of the fingerboard. Plays well immediately on fitting.

These bring the best out of a cello
Pros: The sound from these strings is in my opinion exceptional. The solidity and feeling is indeed warm and audiences have remarked how much the make my cello sing. I have bought Larsen for many years but this range is the tops.
Cons: If you purchase these do not be disappointed initially as they are difficult to tune and need several hours of playing in. Be patient and they will open up there sound starting at the A and finishing with the C
