Professional

The Canone warm and broad G is not for me.

Pros: I am using a Canone warm and broad A an D string on my Gagliano Cello and Magnacore Arioso G and C. I changed the C for the Canone and really liked it, so tried the G.

Cons: Strangely, I don’t like the Canone G, it makes a reedy sound and adversely affects the other strings. So I have gone back to an Arioso G and this combination seems to work best on this Cello.
