Larsen Sovereign for Cello is their most soloistic cello string set designed for professional cellists who want more colour, more control and more definition in sound. With a very fast playing in period, the strings will be settled and performing at a high level.

These high-performance, medium tension cello strings deliver immediate response and powerful projection, expanding your tonal range from raw grit and dark intensity to lyrical warmth and the lightest pianissimo. The lower strings deliver depth, growl and authority, while the upper strings provide warmth and clarity.

Can these be mixed with other Larsen string? The simple answer is yes, absolutely. The Sovereign G and C strings are highly versatile and pair well with a wide range of A and D combinations.
