Pros: Hardly any whistling- works well with the Dominant G, D and A strings
Cons: No problems so far- has been in daily use for several weeks.
Other: Thought I would try this as I thought that the Dominant E string was dull.

Happy customer
Pros: My daughter was recommended the strings by her teacher for a low tension folk sound. She likes them, but i had to get the replacement E string because it broke when we changed her strings. I appreciated the little instructions for changing string which came with the stringzone purchase. Perhaps if the original set had come with it I wouldn’t have needed the extra E string! I’ll definitely buy from stringzone again
Cons: Broke easily

Pros: I purchased a Larsen Tzigane violin E string as a replacement for a Dominant E string (love Dominant strings but not their E strings!). The Larsen Tzigane is a synthetic core string. I have found the string responsive with a pleasing clear tone and timbre. It didn't take very long to 'play in' the string and has only required slight tuning adjustment since installation. I have never used this brand of string before, but will probably continue to use the Larsen Tzigane E string in the future. Good value for money and not very expensive!
Cons: Nothing
