Pros: Product is what it is.. Had a lovely chat with very helpful staff member
Cons: Parcel came as a large letter I opted for 1st class delivery instead of economy - price difference circa 40pence but I paid £2.50 for the privilege, the letter would have cost no more than £1.01. It annoys me when companies over inflate postal charges for profit on postage - profit should be on the product.
Other: Next time I will call for order rather than do it online and negotiate the postal charge.

Pirastro string purchase from The String Zone.
Pros: The string was purchased for a third party in Southern Ireland, to whom I had sold a top of the range Stentor 4/4 cello. In transit the A string was apparently damaged. When I played with the Pirastro Chromcor Cello strings as a beginner I thought and so does the new owner, that the tone was beautiful.
Cons: None
Other: I was very impressed with the efficient and prompt service I received from The String Zone and would recommend them to other buyers.

Excellent service. Quick delivery.
Pros: Excellent service - quick and problem free delivery. The string was ordered to replace a broken existing Chromcor cello A string. I have used a set of four chromcor strings for some while; they are reasonably priced and sound reasonably good.
Cons: Nothing negative to say.
