Tungsten and silver on synthetic core. 3 gauges
Medium tension strings are designed for a vibrating length of 37cm. For a shorter vibrating length consider using high tension, for a longer vibrating length consider using low tension strings.

Pros: Good rich sound - high tension, which was required for a 5-string violin.
Cons: Tends to be a bit 'wooly-sounding' in the higher positions
Other: I would recommend it as a C string on a 5-string violin

Didn't suit my instrument
Pros: Why can't it be blank, if I've nothing to say!
Cons: I've been experimenting with different strings because the G & C weren't speaking when played quietly. It turned out that the belly and ribs were coming unglued in places. When that was repaired. the Evah Pirazzi G string was great, but the C wasn't - quiet, and not responding well. A change of string to an Obbligato solved the problem. I think, therefore, that the string simply didn't suit my viola. It does demonstrate, however, just how sensitive an instrument can be to different types of string.

Great string.
Pros: The C string by Evah Pirazzi in strong version has a very strong sound and responds really good. The difference if you compare it with the Evah Pirazzi C medium is that this string lasts longer, you can use it intensive up to 6 mounts or even longer.
Cons: Its quite tough at the very first moment, but its also flexible and able for quick respond. Price could be less.
