They have a bright sound combined with easy playability under the fingers. Available in full size, medium tension only with a ball or loop end option for the plain steel E string.

Professional

Brilliant sounding gut string
1 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: Great sound and volume , accepts bow pressure, affordable . I use it with an oliv heavy guage silver d (I find the aluminium gold label d too low tensioned) In my opinion this string sounds better than the oliv g and is also more affordable

Cons: Be prepared to tweak the tuning at fairly intervals . Fine if like myself you play folk ,jazz , bluegrass and short classical pieces and have well fitted pegs but if you play long recitals or sit in an orchestra you may prefer to use oliv G which is more stable
