Pros: They lastt longer than aluminium wound, and they dont make the fingers dirty. About the tune there is no big difference, possibly a little sharper but that is only a bonus acording to my taste.
Cons: There semes to be more of failures in the manufaktoring than of the aluminiumwounded, but maybee I just had bad luck.
Other: I only wish ther were more brands that made the same type of string so I could compare, fex.pirasto and thomastik of same construktion.

Pros: Testing out the low tension version as an alternative to medium.
Cons: Unfortunately, there was a break in the string winding after a few days intense playing, and then inevitably made worse by all the position changing and technical practise that I do.
Other: Feels a bit thin. Prefer a thicker string.

Pros: Wound in chromesteel, this synthetic string feels different to regular strings wound in aluminium. The string is slightly thinner and feels stiffer, but labelled as medium tension. It's a different squeeze under the left hand which took a few days getting used to. But after that everything fine. Worth a try for performers looking for the elusive perfect A string
Cons: none

great a string
Pros: brighter tone . my 1924 violin little dull with ordinary a strings . the soundpost may need adjustment but i dont really feel its enough to do that just now for few reasons so i ordered this chrome covered a string and its brilliant has done exactly what i was hoping for and now all the strings sound balanced in volume and tone, very pleased nice string, i will be replacing my other strings with obligatos
Cons: none really its a tiny bit thinner than other alu covered a strings but soon get used to it ,i actually like it being thinner
