Pros: I use this on Evah Pirazzi strings. The bow hair grips well and pulls out a fantastic tone. I had wondered whether the upgrade from my previous student quality rosin would make any difference - a few minutes' playing and all doubts were removed. It has a wonderful piney smell too!
Cons: There's nothing I don't like about this rosin - except its cardboard box. It would have been nice to have a tin.

A great match for the Evahs!
Pros: This rosin really brought out the full performance of the lovely Evah Pirazzi strings on my 1907 English Buttcher 16" viola (See my review Jne 2022). You need to use very little rosin per playing session and it gives a smooth silky feel to bowing. A great match for the Evahs!

Pros: I have been learning the viola for about a year and I was amazed how Pirastro rosin helped to improve my playing. I can hear the words of my father now, 'You get what you pay for.....' In this case it certainly was worth the extra. Delighted!
