Description
Pirastro Piranito violin strings. SET all sizes. Good quality steel based, student strings. Two instrument sizes per string. Ideal for beginners. Improves the sound of basic instruments.
To check your instrument size measure the length of the back (LOB) excluding the 'button' which is the thumb shaped extension at the top where the neck is anchored. Old instruments can vary, if more than 1/2" over choose the next size up.

Pros: Arrived swiftly and in tact, I alway use Piranito excellent tones achievable with this string set. I would highly recommend, They are very durable.
Cons: I have not found a down side.

Pros: The best of the basic steel core strings and a good reference string for deciding which of the Pirastro range will best suit an instrument.
Cons: E can squeal occasionally.
Other: For me, a better reference string than Dominants (I really do not get on with those). Have used them for years and will probably continue to do so.

Pros: A good value for money set of strings bought for my daughter, as recommended by her violin teacher.Excellent quality producing great tone. Only really needed to change the D and G strings but decided to change the whole set anyway. Am glad as even though there wasn't much wrong with the old strings, you can really hear the much better tone from the new piranito strings.Her playing sounds so much better!
