A mixed result
1 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: The tension on this string - soft version - is about as low as any string can be which makes it very malleable and gentle under the left-hand finger-tips.

Cons: The tone is a little wiry and not as rounded and rich as the 'soft' ("weich") Obligato equivalent string.

Definitely worth trying.

Pros: This is the first time I've used Tonica having been using Obligato for some time. I found the string settled in quickly and is a little less edgy than the Obligato. Kept its pitch well from the outset.

Cons: No particular complaints
