Plain steel. Ball or Loop end. Violino strings are very easy to play, have a warm, smooth and round sound. They speak easily even at the lowest bow pressure.
Using a loop end E? The use of a protector to prevent the tuner hook breaking the string is essential with loop end E strings. We cannot accept claims for strings broken by the adjuster hook. Click here to purchase this item.

Pros: I've always used more expensive strings in the past, but my violin has little tone at the top end and most E strings can sound tinny. I had read that this was a mellow E, and it's solved the problem. I suppose it depends on the individual violin.
