bright fiddle tone, quality/feel is a bit meh!

Pros: They sound bright and feel fast to respond to the bow. I'd say that's why fiddlers like them, and the tone is nice enough. I prefer the tone of the G & the A String to Helicores,

Cons: I don't really get on with them compared to other strings I've tried, the D sounds too scratchy where other D's haven't on the same instrument. The quality of the windings are sub-par for starters, as you take the string out of the unsealed packet, the fabric windings are already coming off. I don't like the feel of the string under the fingers, other steel strings like the Helicores and chromcors both felt much better under the finger to me.

Other: I was expecting to like these much more than I did, and am a bit disappointed with the overall quality compared to Pirastro or D'Addario steel strings. I get why fiddlers like them I think Prim do the bright tone thing well, but i'd say there are much better strings for the same price and overall it's not a string I'll be sticking with. Going back to pirastro chromcor/flexicor

Excellent strings. Powerful, long lasting

Pros: Prims are great strings in my experience - which would be with Medium or Orchestral. Big volume and good sound. The A string as good as the other three. Good price also.

Cons: No cons

Prim are the best

Pros: Prim strings are the best I've used most people would rather spend loads on Dominant or Eva Parazzi but I prefare prim because the have great sound resonance and they are best for all styles of music I love them for £31 a set they're the best

Cons: Certainly none to mention

Other: Most favourite strings I've ever used good quality comfortable with them
