Pro-Arté synthetic core cello strings have a warm, mellow tone. They are less sensitive to humidity and temperature changes, and break in quickly. Pro-Arté strings are manufactured at a lower tension in order to maximize bow response, tonal blend and playability. The perfect choice for players seeking a warm, dark tone.
Excellent quality and value student string. Perlon core with aluminium and silver covers. Same construction as Dominant.

Pros: I'm a parent who bought these strings on advice from teacher of our young daughter (grade5), and he was v pleased with them (after dismissing a marginally cheaper version that was our initial purchase), and so is our daughter...i really appreciated The String Zone's willingness to exchange the strings (first from half-size to three-quarters, and then from one make to another) without complaint and very speedily, by return
Cons: pricey, but cheaper than elsewhere!
