Pros:
I have put these on a fairly bright violin, which has good volume. I wanted some of the tone of Eudoxa gut strings, but with less expense and hassle. I still haven't quite played the strings in, but so far I like them. Lowish tension, even sound across the strings and not as bright or 'punchy' as the Zyex they replaced. There is still a slight metallic edge on the A, but it's not offensive and I think it will soften. I think they will suit the violin nicely. Good value and they are a good price.
