The 'SmartStop' cello anchor was developed by Sarah West, a Juilliard-trained cellist and teacher.

Over three years of researching the best materials for both the top and the bottom (complete with dozens of design change trials), this design concluded with a wonderful back surface that is strong & tear-resistant.

This anchor is dust-resistant but also washes easily, it fits easily into the pocket of your case, sticks to most surfaces but moves easily if you need to adjust position. The anchor accommodates cellos with all endpin types and rubber tips, and also most basses.
