Description
Chrome wound on spiral core. Various sizes. Orchestra tuning as listed.
Spirocore strings have a flexible multiwire spiral rope core which results in a longer vibration period with reduced inertia. They are highly responsive and long lasting and are ideal for both pizzicato and bowing. Widely regarded as the reference standard in double bass strings.
Available in 3/4 scale (106cm) or 4/4 scale (110cm) . Please consult the options list for available scales and tensions (high tension no longer available for 3/4 scale).

Really friendly, great service. Spot on!
Pros: They were fantastic. After ordering the wrong string by accident, 2 days before a gig, they managed to not only get the right one out to me the next day, but kindly refunded me for the one I didn't need. Really good service and lovely to deal with. Perfect!
Cons: well, I forgot how to read temporary, but that's hardly their fault! There were no cons from their end though.
