Hi-tech, top grade, spiral steel core strings.
Spirocore strings have a flexible spiral steel core. This core has greater elasticity than that of conventional strings, which means less inertia and a higher propensity to musical vibration.

Helicore A string replacement

Pros: Bought as a replacement for a Helicore A string. I was spending more on A strings than beer. These have a chrome binding, should be good for a year. (21 hours a week practice +/-)
Cons: I was sent 2 emails asking for a review. I have yet to put the string on... Maybe they should wait 6 months before asking? The review process is supposed to assist buyers not just boost sales
Other: I shop here often the company is fast and understanding. Exactly what I need

Pros: good price and reliable
Cons: rather thin in diameter. I like a thicker string especially in double stops. but they do do an aluminum covered which is a more substantial
