Pros: I am particularly pleased with this string. I have never used a rope core string before. The sound is full and very attractive. On the violin on which it's fitted - a very good French violin about 100 years old - it is easily the equal of the Vision Titanium Solo G it sits beside (which I also like a lot). It does not feel like a poor relation at all. I've sent off for a companion G string - we'll see what it's like!
