Description
Ergonomically design for maximum playing comfort. Wooden bar with foam rubber padding. For all violas 15" and up. Unique swivelling leg brackets allows the the bar of the rest to be set lower on the instrument than other rests without increasing the risk of the rest falling off.

Pros: Well made and attractive. Also allows freedom of movement for the player which more ergonomic rests tend to inhibit.
Cons: The rubber padding will wear out, but it is possible to replace it with the help of some rubber, scissors, and glue.
Other: This site had the best price for this model.

Pros: A lovely shoulder rest, beautifully made and presented. After careful adjustment to fit my viola, it stays on very securely and is comfortable when playing. It helps my confidence not to worry about the shoulder rest slipping off. It is light and ergonomic. Love the black feet.
Cons: The rest is relatively expensive.
Other: Requires some patience and trial and error to set up the rest to fit your instrument.

Finally a viola shoulder rest which stays on!
Pros: After years of trying different shoulder rests I have finally found one which doesn't continually fall off my viola. Due to the swivel mechanism of the feet you can attach the rest to the widest part of the viola, with the shoulder rest where you want it to be and that means it doesn't slide off. This is a particular problem for females as their shoulders are not as wide and we need the rest closer to our bodies. It has quite literally changed my life! I didn't quite realise how much tension I had been holding to keep previous shoulder rests in place, and so it has actually enabled me to relax my vibrato. As well as this it is as comfortable as my old Kun, looks nice, and doesn't break the bank.

Finally a solution to my shoulder rest problems
Pros: A great product, very comfortable, doesn't fall off or slide around the instrument and thereby gives a very stable feel. Most of all the rest stays still and also helps me to keep a good position much more easily. Doesn't "lock" your shoulder into one position.
