Ergonomically designed for maximum playing comfort. Unique swivelling leg brackets allows the the bar of the rest to be set lower on the instrument than other rests without increasing the risk of the rest falling off.

Pros: Apart from the fact that it looks attractive I have absolute confidence that it will not fall off my violin. Also with the feet being sprung, I have no worry about the shoulder rest damaging the violin.
Cons: I have no concerns about it.

Pros: Having played for 32 years professionally and tried just about every shoulder rest available this is by far the most comfortable and attractive one I have purchased. There are so many adjustments possible to adapt to the individual physique that I would imagine everyone could benefit from its comfort.
Cons: I don't think there is anything I don't like. I can imagine people might find the cost too much but if I had bought this rest 32yrs ago I could have saved myself a lot of money as I have a drawer full of uncomfortable rests that in total cost way more than the asking price.

Pros: I have been using this rest for over two weeks now and at first I had difficulty finding the correct position for a comfortable fit, I am now happy to say I have found a good set-up and am happy with the purchase. My violin does sound a lot better by using it. I was also reassured to see that Joshua Bell also uses this same shoulder rest.
Cons: Takes time to find the right setting, despite one review here saying it comes with a case, it doesn't. I would have expected one especially as this is a premium price product.

Pros: I used to Augustin shoulder rest before but this new pruduct is fantastic! Very variable to find the best position! Thank you!

Pros: Adjustable both lengthways and in height which in particular is good for my long giraffe neck which has caused problems over the years. Has stayed in place so far during orchestra rehearsals which is wonderful and the purpose I bought it for. I had persevered with a wolf adjustable rest for years but it was flying off my violin every page turn and often in between. This was an improvement on the 'super flexible' version which I gave up on after a few weeks as it felt like I was trying to wrestle a crocodile rather than play the violin. Legs fold inwards for easy transportation.
Cons: I was slightly intimidated that I would have trouble setting up the initial adjustments and I thought I was going to have to dig out my old school protractor to get the legs in the right position but then found the diagram included in the instructions a good guide.
Other: If you are looking for a stable shoulder rest and you have a long neck I'm not sure you could get better than this.

Pros: Appearance. Well made. Rubber on foot attachments appears to hold firmly to violin and shows no sign of causing damage to varnish. Easy to attach /remove.
Cons: Expensive - but get what you pay for!
Other: Recommended by other players & by tutor (all having tried other shoulder rests.

Pros: I used a Wolf Forte Primo for many years but the feet were prone to moving their position and in the worst case becoming detached from the violin. After a lot of research, and some hesitation because of its price, I selected the Viva La Musica Diamond. I'm very happy with my purchase. It's easy to adjust to the playing position that suits me best and it's completely stable on the violin.
Cons: No cons for me.

Pros: Very comfortable especially for my long neck. A good range of adjustments possible. Nice spongy cushion stops it digging into shoulder. Fits very well onto the violin and stays on which is an improvement on my last one. Looks very elegant too - the creme de la creme of shoulder rests

Pros: This is the best shoulder rest I have tried. It is comfortable, can be adjusted high enough, and looks really beautiful. It also grips the violin really well and does not fall off like many other do. It is better than the Wolff because not too wide, and better thn the Kun which tends to fall off.
Cons: It is a bit tricky to adjust at first because there are so many positions possible.
Other: Great fast and reliable service from Stringzone as usual.
