Fantastic.

Pros: The wolf shoulder rests are great for people with long necks because they extend much further than any other i've met (kun, fom et). The padded surface is comfy and provides good friction. It's very adjustable too. I wouldn't use anything else. Good price too.

Cons: Eventually the little rubber tubes that go over the feet wear out, but I believe it's very easy to get new ones, so it's hardly a problem.

Highly recommended

Pros: It is high, stops the violin from dropping down, saves energy because you do not need to hold your instrument up and helps keep shoulders relaxed because you do not need to lift your shoulder to keep the contact between the instrument and your chin.

Cons: Nothing I don't like about this product.

Excellent customisable rest
4 out of 4 found the following review helpful

Pros: Excellent customisable rest. Has a straight pad that fits me much better than the secondo, so if secondo hasn't worked for you then try the Primo. You can move the rest at an angle to the feet, so if you have a particularly sloping chest tilting the pad towards you will ensure full connectivity between chest and rest.

Cons: I did try adding the extra height stabilisers to the legs, which gave a good deal extra height to the rest. But as i also wear it at quite a sharp angle it wasn't quite as stable as it was without the height stabilisers. So i took them off in the end. Still, it is really good!

Other: I went for a long time through all the rests available before this. Eventually I stopped wearing one for 5 years. This is the best rest I've ever had.

Excellent buy. Wish we got it years ago.

Pros: Fully adjustable. Can be adjusted in height at both ends so you can have it lower on the shoulder and higher on the chest.

Cons: Slips of accasionally

Other: This has helped our 11 yr old with her posture. Her arm used to droop when playing but now the rest ensures the violin stays in position so her arm does too!

Very adaptable well made comfortable. Pupil choice
2 out of 2 found the following review helpful

Pros: These rests are very adjustable, quite sturdy and last well. I have used them for years. Several pupils also prefer them as they have a slightly broader pad than many rivals. Secondo version is also very good.

Cons: Not as cheap as some rivals which are also very good.

A great Okd Favourite

Pros: I was replacing the same model I’ve had for around 40 years after the rubber on the feet cracked and elastic bands didn’t work as a repair. If this one lasts as long as it’s predecessor my granddaughter will inherit it.

Cons: None
